Music has a really powerful impact on me. It doesn't quite have the strength my codependent tendencies do at changing my emotions but it's still rather strong. Today my music listening has made me ponder if music is perhaps a way for me to cope. I feel I inherited my love and passion for music from my mother, who has been through a lot. Perhaps we both share this as a way to cope?

While an upbeat song can really make me feel good, relatable lyrics are also important. Though they may be sad, I still marvel at how well someone can capture how I feel so well with their words. I guess that just shows how universal emotions and experiences can be.

Wow, if I posted every song that touches me, I wouldn't have time for anything else. I guess that's not a bad thing after all.
